Personal Requests

Pray: for the worship transition and the worship center worship pastor search. Pray for the elders to be blessed with God’s wisdom and insight at their retreat this Friday and Saturday.

Jeremie – My families health, both my children as they continue to learn about God, my ministry here at church, boldness in proclaiming gospel

David: for wisdom in some upcoming leadership discussions– and for paula  who is experiencing her first Mother’s day since her mom’s passing.

Mark: Praising God for a safe trip this week to and from a conference.

Benny: Please pray for God’s leadership in planning for our next venue and campus.

Jason Pray for my children as they finish the semester, take exams and tests, and enter into a summer of work and rest.

 

Charity: Please pray for me to be the wife and mom that God has called me to be. Pray for me to grow in Christ so that I will have more of Him to share with others.

 

Departmental Requests: Include dates, etc

 

Elementary:  Pray for the volunteers and kids going to camp on June 12th – 16th, that they may grow deeper in their relationship with Christ or come to know Him for the first time.  

 

High School:  Pray for graduating seniors to make good choices as they prepare for college in the fall.

 

Groups/Membership: new leaders to be called out the church family to lead small groups, for the church family to love and care for one another

 

Welcome Team/Guest Follow up: Praising God for a great time away at a conference this week with several of my key team members. May God bring massive amounts of fruit from this experience.

 

Preschool: Please pray for God’s provision of volunteers to serve who want to share the love of Jesus with preschoolers.

 

Tom and Carla

 

Please pray for Tom as he is currently traveling to Thailand for meetings and will return later this weekend.  Please pray for his health, wisdom and guidance, and smooth travel.  Please also pray for the girls and me as we hold down the fort here in the US while he’s away.

Please pray for our current Jobs for Life Classes that have begun:

  • 14 Females enrolled at Warren County Jail

Please pray for our upcoming Jobs for Life that begins on April 11
Please pray for our evening Faith and Finances Course that began on March 7.

  • We have 10 community participants! A few being husband and wife which is a big step for those families and our community!

Please pray for our Ready to Work Shuttle that is running 6 days a week.

  • We are currently in need of a few volunteers to be trained as Sub Shuttle Drivers. Pray the Lord would meet this need.

We are also needing the Lord to provide us with a couple people to serve as volunteer donation pick up drivers.
Please pray for our 5 Program Living Residents:

  • Anthony, working at Pan Oston, who is in the last phase of their 12 month programming
  • Derek and Kevin who are in phase 3 and both working
  • Tommy, Erin, Adam who are in phase 1 & 2. All working at New Creations Furniture Co.
  • Please pray for the 4 residents God is preparing to give us in the coming days.

Pray for our Cooking for Hope event on April 20. Pray God richly blesses this night!

Mark and Parker Phillips – Road to Karma

 

We are having a training on storying for about 30 of our believers next week. Please pray this will be a fruitful time and a useful tool for their ministries.

 

R&N – Lost Cities of Asia (for security reasons, I cannot share names on the internet).

 

1) Please pray for a new contact R recently made in a town with a local brother we had not met before.  We are both engaging the same area and hope to work together in the future. Pray for a deep and strategic partnership.

 

2) Our girls recently started at a local kindergarten.  We are hoping the girls will start to pick up some of the local language as well as develop friendships there that will open doors for us to share with local families.

 

3) Pray for many opportunities to share the good news as we enter into the easter season.

Thomas Weakley – Campus Crusade at WKU

 

Jacob and Cara Stevens – Portugal

 

Please be praying for an Easter outreach this weekend (April 8) in the part of the city where we are seeking to church plant. Pray for local churches to catch the vision and for locals to show up!

 

We are also getting settled into our new place. Pray for doors to open with our neighbors and nearby businesses.

 

Justin Pate – Pastor, Redeemer Church

 

Redeemer had our largest attendance. Had to get out chairs. Pray for continued growth and follow up.

 

Living Hope Members:

 

Alissa Arnold asks that we pray for her coworker and friend, Kathryn who is dealing with a cancer dignoses.

Matt Smith requests praises for his daughter, Abigail who is healthy and allergy free so far.

Please pray for Christian Lopez as he is leaving for Greece soon.

Grant Hughes asks that we pray for him as he is diving into graduate school, and prays that he remains steady in his faith.  

Please pray for Kathy Zander to have boldness to speak of God’s love and forgivness.

Please pray for Madison Smith who is recovering from a tonsillectomy

Todd Martin requests prayer for his brother who is going through an issue with his recent surgery.

Please pray for Charie Smith’s father who has had a stroke and is dealing with illness as well.

Pray for Eugene Green, Shirley Green’s father who is going through difficult treatment for his cancer.

Amanda Webb asks that we pray for Glenn, her brother, to come to saving faith in Jesus.

Please pray for Richard Brannin, who was diagnosed with chronic lympocytic leukemia.
