  • Jason: Praying for an outpouring of generosity from Living Hope for GFC and praying that Living Hope will see more people find healing and hope in Jesus and come and join our family of faith.

  • Please pray for opportunities to share why we are thankful during this American holiday, as we will be enjoying dinner together with unbelieving friends and Thai staff throughout the upcoming week.

  • Pray for continued progress in language. Pray for W as he begins an intensive class. He will be putting in a lot of hours over the next three weeks. Pray for energy and strength and a big step forward in language.
  • Pray as the holidays approach that we would find opportunities to grow our relationships with our neighbors.
  • Continue to pray for boys to enjoy and participate in school and to learn language.

Bryan Lewis – Hope House

  • Pray for the two JfL graduations this week and strength for our graduates as they continue to look for employment.
  • Pray for our board of directors as we have our monthly meeting this week. Pray we will be unified as we meet together.
  • Pray God provides the gift and volunteers needs we have for Affordable Christmas on December 7.

Stuart and Jenny Borders, Church Planters in Atlanta, GA

  • Please pray for us as Reservoir Church prepares for the Christmas season. We are praying this time can be used to soften our community to the gospel and the church’s presence.  Pray for us as we consider different ways that we can be a part of the community during the season.
  • Pray for 2014 partnerships for the church. Stuart’s apprenticeship with NAMB ends in January. So pray that God continues to connect us with churches and individuals that want to partner with our work here in West Highlands.
  • Pray for Jenny’s strength and health. Ben is showing to be a big boy already, which means Jenny is even more uncomfortable and has to work more to do things she wants to do.  Pray for our peace in caring for our other kids during this time to that we would trust in the Lord even more to be at work in their lives to trust Him.

Bryan Veatch – FCA director, South Central Kentucky

  • Donna Smith rallied over 70 from the South Central KY area FCAs to participate in Saturday’s FCA Weekend of Champions at Lexington Christian Academy
  • 1 South Warren Athlete received Jesus!
  • Allen Co. Scottsville FCA won the FCA Competition & the Traveling Trophy! 1st Ever!
  • Thanking the Lord for the broadened influence Donna Smith has been spreading since her retirement from FCA ACSHS.
  • Praying for Ina Bucklew, my mother in law, who will be coming back home fro Skyline Medical Center on Wednesday after a month-long stay in rehab.  We’ve seen little, if any progress in Ina’s condition and mentally Ina has digressed.  Pray for Shelly & our family as we care for Ina at home.
  • Pray for my presentation this week regarding the expansion of our 3D Coaching Professional Development.

Mark and Parker Phillips – Road to Karma

  • Pray for 3 new believers who confessed Christ this past week! Pray for them to stand firm in their new faith.
  • Pray for the Songhai team as we finalize 2014 calendar. Pray for us to be strategic with teams, national partners, and our own time.
  • Pray for peace in Niamey as we’ve had 3 days of violent protests.

R&N – Lost Cities of Asia – (for security reason, I cannot share names on the internet)

  • Pray for us as we continue to adjust to America and get over jet lag.
  • Continue praying for our partners back in East Asia as they continue the work in our absence.

John and Abby Fisher – Northern Plains

  • We will be having our 6th annual Thanksgiving Day dinner coming up next week. We have traditionally have about 30+ people at the event. It is an awesome family outreach for us and we have seen God do some great things in and through it.
  • One of the guys in our church that I lead to the Lord recently just got out of Jail, God seems to be doing some incredible things in his life. Pray for diligence on my part and openness on his.
  • God recently opened up a huge ministry opportunity with a guy named Dan, Dan is someone I would say is becoming more and more a leader in our church. I am mentoring him on a weekly basis. Dan has heart for youth and young people. he is starting to do some outreach to college age kids.
  • We are seeing more opportunities to reach out to people in our community. Don and Tage are two guys I am reaching out to this week. Please pray for God to open up their hearts to the Gospel.

Thomas Weakley – Campus Crusade at WKU

  • Please pray for our recruiting efforts as we invite students to attend our annual conference over the Christmas Holiday.  We are praying for 50-70 students to attend.
  • Please pray That Thomas’s  kidney stone will pass so that surgery will not be required.
  • Please pray for Thomas as he prepares to speak at our annual staff conference this weekend (Nov. 22-24)

Departmental Prayers:

  • CC- pray for gospel advancement in our soccer league. Many lost people playing.

  • Welcome/Newcomer – Praying that God would send volunteers to serve in Guest Parking, Traffic Team and as 11 am Ushers.

Living Hope Members:

  • Michael Edwards (not LH staff member) requests prayer that he can be stronger in his faith; pray also for provision in different aspects of his life.
  • Ginger Cleary requests prayer for her husband, Steve, who is scheduled for knee surgery 11/25 at Baptist Hospital. Please pray for a successful surgery and for a speedy recovery.
  • Jim thanks God for his wife, family and many blessings of life.
  • Lynne Martin requests prayer for her friend, Connie, who has heart problems.
  • Lana Bay thanks God for her eye surgery going well and for God’s protection as Dick Hill drove to New Mexico safely.
  • Kathy Bridgeman requests prayer for her mother, Nellie Woodcock. Pray for comfort, peace, the ability to eat and drink and for acceptance of her diagnoses.

  • I believe everything posted was actually very logical.
    But, think on this, suppose you added a little content?
    I ain’t saying your information isn’t solid, but what if you added a post title to maybe grab folk’s attention? I mean Care and Prayer Ministries is a little vanilla.
    You should look at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create post headlines to grab viewers to click.

    You might add a video or a pic or two to get readers excited about what you’ve written. Just my opinion, it might bring your website a
    little livelier.

  • Asking questions are in fact pleasant thing if you are not
    understanding something totally, but this piece of writing gives nice understanding even.
